Thereby AB Volvo has now received clearance from the U.S. Department of Justice for the acquisition of Renault V.I. /Mack. AB Volvo and Renault SA expect to conclude the transaction at year-end.

11/22/2000VOLVO AERO WINS LARGE SPACE CONTRACTThe French company SNECMA Moteurs and Volvo Aero have signed a contract for manufacturing of the nozzle and liquid hydrogen (LH2) turbine for additional 4 Vulcain- and 19 Vulcain 2 engines. The contractual value is on the order of 20 M EURO (appr. 170 MSEK or USD 17M).
